There were rumours that the French club were willing to let go of the striker with Monaco’s new manager Leonardo Jardim’s reluctance to include Falcao in his plans.
Falcao, however, has now confirmed his stay at Monaco after his side won their first points of the season as they won 1-0 over Nantes, with Falcao scoring the only goal of the game.
Speaking to Canal+, he was quoted by Goal saying, “My future? I’m fine at Monaco, I hope to stay here.”
Liverpool had recently completed the signing of Mario Balotelli from AC Milan for an amassing amount of £16m, and are still capable of securing Falcao’s signature with £75m they had couped up from the sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona.
