Dos Anjos was supposed to fight Conor McGregor at UFC 196 in March but withdrew from the match with a broken foot. You know the rest of the story: Dos Anjos was replaced by Nate Diaz, who went on to submit McGregor in the second round. The Diaz/McGregor rematch is the featured event of UFC 200.

Dos Anjos’ fight against Alvarez will take place on a Thursday night at MGM Grand Garden Arena to kick off three days of events in Las Vegas culminating with UFC 200, scheduled for the brand-new T-Mobile Arena.
The dos Anjos-Alvarez fight will be the first title bout shown on UFC Fight Pass, the promotion’s subscription steaming service, certainly a few steps down from the hyped pay-per-view cards of which all UFC fighters want to be a part.
